Format & Rules:

The Battle on the Battleship will have both Gi and No-Gi Divisions. Competition scoring and rules are based on the fundamentals of BJJ. The competition will follow a modified double elimination format. Divisions include Men’s Adult, Masters and Women’s Adult. Our rules have been developed with safety and sportsmanship as our highest priority to ensure a fun and safe experience for all skill levels.

Breakdown of Tournament Schedule:

8:00 am-9:30 am: Weigh-ins and ON-SITE registration for all Kids & Teens Gi and No-Gi Divisions.

10:00 am: Kids & Teens Matches begin; starting with Gi followed by No-Gi.

10:00 am - 11:30 am: Weigh-ins and ON-SITE registration for all Men & Women Adult Gi and No-Gi Divisions.

12:00 noon: Men & Women Adult matches begin; starting with Gi followed by No-Gi.
