I myself seem to think folks are jumping on the Kimbo train a little quick and i am truly hoping Tank catches him, I am really a Tank fan not  only for some sick fights in MMA but the guys attitude on life is great, so i got  David " TANK" Abbott

Mabey in 1995 Tank could win this matchup today forget about it .Anyone who is going to take kimbo out has to have an above average ground game,Tank would have to take Kimbo into unfamiliar territory on the ground ,something I highly doubt will happen.

I agree Tanks not going to the ground, and whether it is 1985 95 05, tank has never been in shape for a long drawn out battle, but face it kimbo comes in to bang and so does Tank neither with much of a defense game that i have seen,The guy is human and we will see what happens if Tank touches that chin!

Kimbo is very good a throwing blows but he isnt unstoppable. I mean he did get beat once in a fist fight against the old MMA fighter. Thant being said Tank is no longer a Tank he is more like a light SUV. He is no where close to the fighter he used to be. Kimbo will probably win this fight and the next 3 or four fights until they put him against a better fighter. The reason they arent going to put him up against Cro Crop  or anyone at that level is it is bad for buisness. They want Kimbo to have easier chances to win because of his fame. So they are going to match him up with people who feed into his style. That is why he has only fought good strikers and no grapplers. I mean the first fight hi choke was pitiful. Anyways Kimbo will be a great MMA fighter in a year or two after all he is trained by Bas Rutten.

I agree with almost everything you said but at 35 yrs old how long does this guy have to develop a ground game, some of us have been wrestling, grappling, and practicing JJ our whole lives and we are still learning, I think he can learn some basic defense and a few chokes and subs but he is what he is a 35 yr old glorified street fighter!

Tank is cool and all, but the man has horrible conditioning. He got beat by another slow sloppy dude; Paul Buentello. Kimbo will probably eat his food. I don't see Kimbo doin' much besides fighting these wash outs.

I didn't think that Tank vs. Kimbo was such a hot fight when CFFC announced it, and I feel a lot of the same way now.

I think that Paul Buentello would be a good fight for Kimbo, having fought a contender win or lose might gauge his progress and potential a little better than a fight with Tank.

I think that would be another sloppy match to be honest. Kimbo needs to fight guys like Sylvia, Mir, or even the IFL's Ben Rothwell.

He's not good enough for them,. He has been working on takedowns, and I feel he will do the same on Tank. He may try to trade in the beginning but then go for the takedown.

I want Tank to win because so many people are jumping on Kimbos jock.

Give him props for being there but nothing else. The guys he beat in the street are people that are street "toughs" (bullies that would say ,"Wait, wait", after getting punched once). He is not professinal grade yet.
