It sucks for him cause this fight, which he had no reason to be a part of... derailed all his momentum from his KO victory over Houston Alexander. All of Irvin's hard work was literally thrown out the window. This fight was beyond a sham.

(1434 posts)There's a moment in the fight where you can see in Irvin's eyes that he realizes that this other guy he's fighting... is on a whole other level than him. It's shortly after Silva brings his hand back from making contact with Irvin's face.
