THE WEEK BEFORE THAT HE DECISIONED THE VERY GAME AND TALENTED "NITRO"NICK GARCIA OF NORTH COUNTY FIGHT CLUB AT TOTAL COMBAT 28 ON APRIL 26,2008 IN SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA.
THE WEEK PRIOR HE CAUGHT THEN NUMBER ONE CONTENDER ALEJANDRO PEREZ WITH AN ARMBAR IN THE SECOND ROUND AT MIXED MARTIAL ARTS XTREME FIGHTS IN MEXICO CITY, MEXICO.
