hey kaitlin, i dont know you much at all and i have probably never seen a fight of yours but good luck. gina held us up and there is a forum with 100000 messages on there with no reply so im a lil ticked but if you answer this then your the bomb. I still think gina is kewl but i love womens mma more than mens mma because of the combativness and ferocity of the fights. Women have so much aggression it makes mens mma look like kittens. Good luck on your fight.

Do you have to shower with the boys..............if yes ....have you posted any pics?

    LOL!

My real question is: ( if not to personal )

How much are ProE paying you and Gina for this fight?

Good Luck........you are an awesome fighter.

I disagree with this comment. Gina is a solid fighter and has beat the best women in the business. Not just one fight has made her the star she is. As for Kaitlin I wish you all the luck because whoever beats Gina will be the next star in womens MMA. As this sport grows the competition is only going to get tougher for both the men and women and its going to get harder for anybody to hold a championship belt. Good luck Kaitlin

Hey Kaitlin! Looking forward to your fight. Though I wouldn't say Gina is a bad fighter, her superstardom was born after her first appearance at EliteXC. I saw it live and sure it was entertaining, but it was a single fight and went to decision. You're both good fighters, and though she's better known, reputation and popularity don't create skills. I'm really looking forward to the bout. ..and I'll admit I have bias in your favor as I get tired of any fighter's hype being bigger than his or her accomplishments in the ring. Not that it's Gina's fault, but even so... do me a favor. Make a lot of people wonder what on earth happened : ).

hi i am a fan of both you and gina and i cant wait for this fight. what do you think about dana whites reasoning for not starting a womens class in the ufc. in case you didnt hear he said there simply arent enough women in mma to compete, and that their brains are too small... just kidding he didnt say that last part :) and if their was a womens class in ufc would you think about fighting for them.

Shon, I'm sorry you disagree with me, but that's ok : ). Gina had only 3 pro MMA fights prior to her EXC debut. You might be thinking of her Muay Thai fights? Her first opponent had never fought pro and has only fought pro once since then. She lost that one too. Her next opponent is now a rocking 2 and 2. Julie was 6 - 5 when they fought (to decision). She did beat Rosie though (again by decision) and that's impressive. [if I'm missing something here, anyone...feel free to correct me. I don't claim to be all knowing]. Gina is good, no doubt. I'm not knocking her. But her reputation as being a great fighter is infinitely larger than her accomplishments in mma. And Kaitlin has all the opportunity in the world to confuse people here. I'm looking forward to it : ). On another note, I get tired of everyone asking questions about being a girl in mma (no offense to anyone who's asked...especially the girls!) But I personally think it gets old. Yes they're girls. And it rocks. Let's get past it and focus on the actual fighters as opposed to the fact it's a girl. I'm rooting for you Kaitlin. Be the spoiler!! : )

hhhmmm im trying not to take offense ...But i think my questions are extremely valid ... and hey at least im not asking her out on a date or to marry me like some guys did in the Carano Q&A... Ok with that said... I think my questions and the answers to them are just as important to me as your questions are to you...
Im sorry if you think these types of questions are getting old ..however Females still are fairley new and do have some different rules so until all is equal and there are no questions to be asked about it... I still would like to hear Kaitlins opinions as well as any other female fighters opinion on this subject.

P.S I would love to see that perfect happy ending where all fighters are equal male or female...

Sorry Niecy, I wasn't actually referring to you. Honestly I was just thinking of how many times I see it (and scanning saw it a few times in here) and I think it detracts from the fighter. I mean, if I were a female fighter, at some point I'd think, "ok, well what do you think of me as a fighter as opposed to a girl who fights?" And I believe I pointed out in my post that I was excluding girls asking the question as it's common ground for them. [upon looking at my post...ok, so I said, I "especially" didn't want to offend the girls..guess that's not real clear :)] But please don't think I was directing that specifically at you. I don't like taking pot shots at people. Unless of course they step on my shadow or some other unforgivable offense. Seriously though, I'm not that guy. And yes, of course your questions are as valid as mine. Well...ALMOST as valid as mine :P. I've posted twice in this forum and I now have two knocks on the head for it : ).

    Questions:

1.) Are you coming in more motivated because you lost to Sara Schneider, rather than beating her?

2.) Who would you before you fight Gina has been your toughest opponent?

3.) What inspired you to get into MMA?

4.) Do you remember what was going through your head before your first MMA match?

5.) When you have a boyfriend does he let you defend him or does he still try to defend himself?

What's your personal theme song? Please don't say "Eye of the Tiger," because that's everyone's personal theme song. Don't get me wrong, it's an awesome pump-up jam, but it doesn't say anything about an individual. What's the song going through your head when you walk down the street like Travolta in Saturday Night Fever?
